Volunteer Opportunities

Without our dedicated volunteer advocates, Safe Harbors of the Finger lakes, Inc. could not exist.

Would you or someone you know like to volunteer?

We are always looking for interested individuals who would like to volunteer their time to help others.

All of our Volunteer Advocates complete a required initial 32 hour training, followed by an additional 10 hours of training within the next year. The training prepares volunteers to answer calls on our 24-hour hotline, to provide information and referrals, and provide emergency medical accompaniment to sexual assault survivors.

Non-hotline volunteers provide varied assistance in all of our offices.
